Hi, I take a preventer (flutiform) every day and night and blue one for emergencies. I generally get 2-3 infections a year which require either hospital visit or nebuliser with course of antibiotics and oral steroids. Being in my 40’s I don’t believe I ever got the Mmr shot and measles seems to be on the rise again( and I have small children). Should I or has anyone with asthma had this shot and had any issues?
I have flu shot every year no problem and had pneumonia shot also.

You could ask your GP or practice nurse. They may know if you have ever had it. I think being vaccinated is a good thing. When I was pregnant with my daughter, my son got measles despite having his first MMR. I had a blood test that said I was immune. I seem to remember getting vaccinated in high school because of an outbreak. If I wasn't immune, my daughter could have been affected in the womb. Both my children have been vaccinated. Both my children have autism but so does their father (diagnosed as an adult). I know it is genetic.
Anyway, with the right information, I am sure you will be able to make the right decision for you. x
