After being off steroids and antibiotics for a month. I got put back on them. However, I have randomly been having asthma attacks. Even if I have been doing nothing in the house. Has anyone else had this problem.

Yes. I can find that I am beavering away on my laptop (I am a bookkeeper) only to realise that I can no longer breathe. I don't know when this happens or why, but it creeps up silently. I am on the SMART regime for Symbicort, and the Symbicort usually helps.

I am on ventolin, fostair, Spiriva and montelukast, but they are sporadic & can sometimes last ten mins. Trying to stay off steroids and antibiotics.

I would go back to your asthma nurse or GP. You could try ringing the Asthma UK helpline first. They may be able to give you better advice to go back to your GP/nurse with. You shouldn't have to feel like this and if the inhalers don't work, that isn't good enough. x

Just don’t know if this is going to be a winter thing with the cold weather x

I wouldn't leave it. I have found that toy cost in the past. I would always think, I will go to the doctor's later. It usually ended up with me worse off in the end. For peace of mind, you could ring the helpline first. The asthma nurses have always been brilliant for me. x

Please do. You will feel better for it. Let us know what they say, if you feel comfortable sharing. x

That’s fine. It’s just getting annoying now. Sat the other day feeling tight chested for 10-15 mins the other day. Could the inhalers be doing, because sometimes they mention they can cause breathlessness. Xx
