I have had a very bad attack , and had my pumps changed three times. Brown, to subuticol 250 and now to Fostrair. Had one set of steroids which where great, had two weeks off and back in trouble. Back on steroids in the morning. I have no appetite at all is this normal? Just coughing and coughing. I also have a horrible metallic taste in my mouth anyone else have that?

Hi, steroid inhalers can give you a metallic taste in your mouth. I found that last Christmas. I looked it up, either on the sheet of paper that comes with the inhaler, or on the NHS website under steroid inhalers..I can't quite remember sorry, but it is listed as a symptom.

Fostair is a steroid inhaler.. the steroid in it is beclomethasone... same steroid that was in the brown one (normally clenil or qvar)
