I’d recommend trying NeilMed sinus rinse as a chemical-free method of helping clear your sinuses.
There are several different methods offered by the company; I’ve ended up with their Nasa Mist saline spray which I use in the morning as a maintenance rinse.
There may be other similar products available, but I haven’t tried anything else.
The ENT surgeons at our local hospital recommend these to patients who have had nose and sinus surgery as a reference!
I also use Avamys once daily to keep my sinuses clear. Best talk to your GP about what they might recommend.
One more thing - I take Montelukast which has helped me no end with stopping mucus, the sinus gunk and coughing - read up on it and again talk to your GP as to whether it might be suitable for you 😃
Hi, I have had similar issues and I saw the ent consultant this week. She diagnosed rhinitis for me and gave me a stronger nasal spray. She also recommended the nasal rinse from the chemist. This is the first morning I can breathe up my nose and my husband said my breathing in my sleep was much better. It has taken me over a year to get to this point 😔
Hi everyone, I'm new here and have the same problems I was also told by ENT to use the NeilMed sinus rinse or try Sterimar either the original or the Congestion spay to clear mucus I was also asked to stay on the nasal spray to I'm using inhalers and Monterlucast tablet but I was to take at 🌃 night with my inhalers drugs as usual
