Dampness and asthma

As the weather where I live has got wet again this afternoon it's made my airways inflammation. So my chest is sore apart from using ventolin which will keep my peak flow up. I have seretide 250 2 puffs twice a day,Monkelaust, anti histamine. Waiting to see if asthma nurse will prescribe a steroid nasal spray as discussed in a telephone conversation a couple of days ago.

Any suggestions greatfully received.

The humidity affects my lungs every time. I don't have any ideas yet. Just pray for cold dry weather!

I am very similar elanaoll. I woke up coughing badly at 3.00 a.m. and ended up reading for quite a while. It has been raining badly here too so I don't know if that had anything to do with it. I seem to have mucus high up in my tubes - not too far down from my throat and it whistles when I breathe out! Not a wheeze really.

I have been on Beconase for several weeks and find that my sinuses are feeling clearer but the mucus has changed. It has reduced but seems thicker. I was not dehydrated as I had several glasses of water yesterday evening.

Hope to be on a steroid nasal spray from next Friday when I see my asthma nurse. It was suggested by asthma UK helpline and okay by other asthma nurse who can't prescribed so passed it on to my asthma nurse.
