i am a long term user of Sub cut terbutaline and have reciently had my does increased to 10mg as cons told me that is the dose most Brittles use, I havnt had that dose for many many years and am pleased to be tollerating it well with no aditional side effects, and a reduction in my Brittleness, as only had 1 hospital admission in 5 weeks as apose to the usual weekly ones.
My question is what is the maximum I could titrate to if needed, my current Professor is not keen on terbutaline as he feels we should all be managed on long acting Beta 2 inhalers so cant ask, and dont see the cons in clinic who advised me to increase in the first place!
I am well so not needing an increase, I just like to keep up to date with options.

Glad the increase has helped george .. Think everyone's dose is slightly different And Is advised by their respiratory team . ... After 2 years And now complications of the pump and my skin I had to stop the beloved pump . im waiting for review to discuss Nxt step of treatment . Take care
sorry to hijack this post, but in the absence of private messaging I don't know how else to ask. Gussypoo how are you now after the thermoplasty?? I got turned down in London as you know but nearby hosp might be doing soon so I wondered how it was going.
Valj .... The 1st 2 sessions where great. The last session took ages to recover from almost 6 months before I felt as if back in control of things ... It's helped long term symptoms .. Able to sit at rest and not be out of puff is a great thing for me , even to sit and talk is better for me ... activity wise its so unpredictable fine one minute walking and then suddenly an asthma attack .. So now starting pulmonary rehab .... Dr was hoping i got a better result but before it, I keep telling them I couldn't walk very far so its an improvement and If asked would I do it again yes I would
