How suitable is the omron u22 nebuliser for day to day use (e.g. 4hourly-qds usage) withh salbutamol and atrovent...or would i be better off investing in a different nebuliser?
(ps. have been prescribed for home use by resp consulant... just to avoid any confusion)
I have bothe the omron micro air and a portaneb. I tend to use the portaneb as my workhorse during the day at home and the omron at night so i dont disturb anyone one. I have used my omron for qds plus prn nebs for up to 3 weeks at atime when away using a an adaptor so it didnt eat abtteries and it was fine but i dont know how long the mesh would last if that was week in week out.
I do know that others do have it as there sole neb maybe they will shed some more light when they are around.
What i would say is look around as the prices seem to vary alot there is 1 website whe=ich seels them for 70 quid (medi-save mods hope this is ok if not remove)
wow thanks for that hops...is thhat including the adapter.. (would look mself but pants lne wonlet me load it...)
I have a meix ac4000 onloan from my hospitalbut its really noisy and i dont like using it at night cos its really noisy
Sorry no its not but the adapter is cheap on that site too
The actual neb is 78 quid and the adaptor 26 quid so def the cheapest ive found and the service the company gives i have found is good and helpful.
