Daft question

After being asthmatic for half my life... i still don't know what to do with empty inhalers!! I must have at least 100 in the garage and my dad's been nagging me to find out what to do with them!

Can you just throw them in the bin?

You could take them into your local pharmacy for disposal.

most of the time i just put them in the bin, although i have been occassionnally known to do as the pharmacist recommends, and take them back to him. i waited so long ot do this, that i walked into the chemists with a huge black binbag of it all!!!

Wow!

You can recycle them if your local council takes non-volatile aerosol canister in the metals.

Also you could ask if they take the hard plastic.....

Otherwise you could provide a complete set of shoes for a very large Centipede with the plastic casing!

Kate

I put my canisters in with th recycling (tins/glass plastic bottles) and the casing goes to my localreuse/recycle center (along with yog pots test strip pots etc )- not been told there is an issue with them and have done it for about 18months so far

i send mine to the recycle point at the council tip.

i used to bin them but we now recycle more than we chuyck now so they get recycled too.

i never heard of an issue with it.
