Not again lungs

I am beginning to wonder if my lungs will ever behave themselves again, it seems as though this year is turning out to be exactly like 2011.

I am so fed up of my asthma and chest infection causing me problems plus I am not sleeping well either I could quite easily burst into tears.

A very fed up Asthmagirl

Sending you hugs, I'm with you on those very same feelings right now. But we must stay strong and believe we can get back on track.

Sending hugs as well. If only we could all get new lungs! I really hope this year turns out better for you. xx

I know it's the new year, but a bad start doesn't signify a bad continuation.

I don't like January being the beginning of the year - it's still the middle of winter, it's all grey and gloomy, and all the winter bugs are still lurking.

Seding u massive hugs hunni, u could be describing me, my asthma has been poorly controlled since June/July of last year, prior to this it was only problematic when i was ill or one of my triggers set it off, i can't remember the last nite sleep i had, in fact i don't seem to sleep for more than an hour or two now days, Im on so much medication and it helps but the symptoms are still there, so i get where ur coming from totally, sorry to hijack ur message just wanted u to know ur not alone xxx

Hugs! hope you feel better soon, and have a good rant on here, that never did anyone any harm.

Here is the situation I find myself in again, lungs very stroppy, tight chest, SOB, and wheezing not feeling very well at all because I also have a nasty chest infection not sleeping much either only got 1 hour sleep last night and have had to neb several times, I am due to return to work tomorrow after my Christmas holiday and at the moment I hope that I will be able to get through the day OK.

I'm in the same boat too, been suffering with my breathing and constant cough since October 2011. They attempted steroid reduction twice already but it's always kicked it off again when I got down to 10mg. This time Ive managed to get down to 15mg for 6 days and now I've got a viral chest infection that they cant give me antibiotics for and have upped my steroids back up to 30mg .... Argh!!!

I'm really depressed about it all but I know I'm supposed to stay positive but it's hard isn't it.

Really hope your feeling better soon and so sorry to rant in your thread. PM me if you want to talk.
