fosamax side effects-please help

I was prescribed this yesterday instead of taking just alcium supplements. it is the once a week dose and I took it this morning, following instructions correctly. I now have a rash all over my stomach and my legs are really aching.

Is this normal after taking this drug?? Don't know whether to keep taking it so that my body can get used to it or whether I should stop straight away.

Karly, you need to go and see your doctor as soon as you can and discuss these side effects. I wouldn't take it again until you have done so.
