tight chest

Good morning everybody hope this weather is not making you all too ill. Quick question my chest is very tight like breathing through a straw. I am on steroids at min for pleurisy but I have finished my antibiotics do you think another trip to docs is in order only finished. Them yesterday or is the weather making me feel ill feel like I'm always at docs xx xx

Poor you. I agree with Alice that you should try to get in touch with your doctor or asthma nurse. My doctors always say to me that they'd rather I 'botherthem' over symptoms that turn out to be relatively mild and easily treated than that I leave things too late and end up bothering them as an inpatient for days or weeks!

It's often easier to nip things in the bud if you treat aggressively right from the start than to get things under control once they get really, really bad.

I agree nipping things in the bud is so much easier then letting things get out of control...if you get the chance pop and see docs today I am sure they don't mind.

got appt for 3 -30 tomorrow afternoon. seems a bit easier now but still very tight. will see what happens tomorrow xxx thank you for all your answers

went to docs yesterday had a chat with doctor she listened to my chest and said my chest is a bit crackly with just having pleurisy and still been on steroids but the tight feeling i have been having is weather related but if i get worse to go back straight away. today i feel a lot better thank goodness, thank you for your kind messages. xxxxx
