I know its lisenced for copd but Ive been reading that it is useful in difficult asthma to control breathlessness, Ive been taking for several years and its enabled me to reduce my inhaled steroids from HUGE doses to minimum dose, cut my exacerbation rate & increased my exersice tolerance. Are there any professionals our there who can point me in the right direction to get some researche evidence

the research database i use is CINAHL and also MEDline. they are normally fab for journal articles when i was doing my degree nursing and masters courses.

also, you can use 'google scholar' for articles on research into spiriva and its effectiveness.
