AUK down?

I had a period this evening when I could not log onto AUK this has happened a few times recently. Other sites are working OK, is there some backroom stuff being done that results in not being able to get online? It seems to be entirely random the times etc but this evening it was a couple of hours.

Always seems to have been in the evening. Can't imagine there's any planned work being done. I do know there has been problems with their email recently as well though.

I've been struggling a bit too, although tonight seems OK. Is it my imagination, or did this start to be an issue with the launch of the AUK Blog?

Hi Bex,

As CathBear says, we have been having quite a few technical problems of late - both with email and the website. We thought the website issues had been resolved before Christmas but - as this thread suggests - we're obviously still not quite there!

We are looking into this urgently - in the mean time please accept our apologies for the ongoing problems. I'll let you know when we get any further updates.

So it isn't my slowdem after all!

I have had problems accessing, mainly on friday nights! (For quite a while now!)

I checked by looking at all sorts of other web sites and accessed them no problem.

I'm sorry, but when I comes to IT, I want to be in a dream world. It's my way of coping with my job - an IT manager responsible for getting things fixed when they break - oops. :o)
