I'm training for my first 10k, not quite up to your standard tho!!
heyy, i've done an annual marathon for a few years now - started when i was 12. its just about building up slowly and pushing yourself a little bit harder each day. make sure you have 2 days rest a week though for your body to recover. always stretch and warm up also as you're more ready. do you have a dog? these are god sends when training for an event like this, they seem to keep on going even when you feel like stopping - also make sure your asthma is controlled the best it can be
Hope this helps
i cant get to up and down stairs without needing my inhaler so dont think i be doing any running haha
