Thought All Was Well 'Till ....

Hello all, it's been some time since i last posted. Hope everyone is well.

We thought Shane was under control, his been doing well these last few months, untill our check-up at the hossy that was. The cons' still quite concerned about the control, or lack of, we have over Shanes asthma. They have just started him on Slo-Phyllin, ohh how that hypes him up ever more, and have said that if things havent got any better by the next review they will talk to us about injections.

This is really a set back as I felt things were ok, appart from norm, inhalers and nebs, his tendancy to turn blue hasnt been as much, and his breathing not so shallow. We have only had 3 times where we thought he would need addmiting into hospital, but managed to advoid it on all 3 accounts, and one of them was at school while doing a charity run, which he was ment to walk with another little girl in his class whoms in a wheelchair, but took it upon himself to try and run with the others and over working leaving him needing to be nebbed in school and them on the phone to me asking to come in and that they may call the ambulance if the neb dont work.

I dont like the idea of the injections, although I havent been told what this will involve, but the slo-phyllin makes him bounce off the walls too.

Well thats our latest, and I hope all is well with the kids.

Take care

Sharyn
