We use the solid air Freshners Made by glade I'm either relaxing zen or vanilla as these are fine with my asthma ! They ate like a solid block inside the plastic container peel off the label and there active ! But I might be. The other scents are too strong for my likeing!

Everyone is different though ! X

Wouldnt advise using candles - they burn up oxygen and give off smoke. Of course everyone is different and your son may be able to tolerate them - me and my son can't.

its probably more a case of trial an error we have a pug in in the hall but not in the lounge or bedrooms if i need to spray the rooms i do it while neither my daughter or husband are around, as mentioned before the solid blocks are good but go for a mild sent also we have a liquid one in the bathroom it is a bottle with soaking up stick and a pad on the top it just gives a gentle sent

Im OK with the Threevalution plugins as long as they are on the low or medium setting and I also make sure that I only ever use Vanilla scents in the house as it doesn't see to be as harsh. I've also started to use a liquid incence type of thing called a Reed Diffuser on the fireplace ... its again Vanilla scent but the liquid soaks into the sticks slowly and then enters the air very lightly. It will be trial and error though I'm afraid as it took my ages to find out what I can cope with.

Good luck x

My son definately struggles when there is anykind of smoke about. We have even had to stop going to church because the incense makes him cough so much.
