steroid inhaler, fostair

Sorry to hear you seem to be having withdrawal symptoms. I am sorry I have not even heard of your type of inhaler so can't help you. I hope someone can. I would advise you to call the British Lung Foundation Help Line during the day I do not have their number to hand for you. Definitely make an appointment to see your GP I would advise an emergency appointment but am sure they will advise you when you ring about that. It depends on your symptoms and the time it would take you to get a routine appointment. You could also try calling NHS Direct or Health Direct whatever they call themselves now and talk to one of the nurses on there.
Good Luck and hope you get this sorted soon.
Take care

hi, thanks for your reply. I saw the doctor 2 weeks ago so he could check my peakflow as at that point i was only taking a tiny amount at night. He wasn't that helpful at all really and basically said if you don't need meds in the day i probably didnt need them at night ...... so i stopped ....... then i read up on the affect of the adrenals which didn't need to produce steroid anymore and i felt so drained for a few days last week. Now I think the withdrawal was from gluten and casein but just wanted to see if anyone else had ever stopped fostair. I've changed alot of things this past 2 1/2 months so i think my body is just adjusting .
