knee replacement and heart issues

has anyone needed a stress ecg ( on a bike or treadmill) whilst also needing a knee replacement.

I am going through testing for my heart aryythmia and the cardiologist wants a stress test then EKG

I ve said a few times this is no good I can only walk gently not move the joint at speed at all before pain sets in - not respiratory/cardiac issues.

Has anyone else had this experience?

You only have to go at a pace your comfortable with. The anaesthetist would want reassurances re your heart condition before proceeding with any surgery, so I think it needs doing. My mum struggles with walking, and only did a few minutes before they stopped as she was struggling, they still had enough info from what she did do. I wouldn’t stress about it.

Tnx - funnily enough I just cleaned the bathroom floor and shower and I hit 147 bpm - now resting with a cuppa .
