Bungalow

I visited a Bungalow yesterday and have decided to take it subject to contract. It has a Shower. I lose a bit of space and I have to get a Cooker, Washing Machine and Fridge and may have to Rent storage. But thankfully there are no stairs, but there is a Security gate. I may have to do some shopping on Amazon or perhaps at local Charities.

You can always try Freegle or Gumtree as well. Our local ones sometimes have some really good items and Freegle are free.

Excellent idea Worrie. I have lived in a bungalow for 15 years, long before I had arthritis and it took a little bit of getting used to - we still talk about "coming down" for breakfast in the morning! But it is so nice to have everything on one floor. I have ankle arthritis now and am so pleased I don't have to worry about stairs. I can recommend having a good declutter if you can rather than putting too much into storage. It's very therapeutic.

Indeed. That's the process I am going through at the moment. The Landlady liked me as a Tenant so she is helping me move. It's the things, like Cooker, fridge and Broadband. There is a lock up 3 miles away, which is cheap for the 1st 8 weeks.

Good day. You mentioned broadband. I wonder if you are aware that most providers (not all) have a 'social tariff' available if you ask about it. Great value, Reg 👍
