I must be lucky after dying with hip pain for a couple years ..it got to the point where I had to lift my leg with my arms to put on brakes

Once I had hip surgery it seems like I still had other osteoarthritis issues but I tried to ignore them. I found a remedy from a friend about Turmeric Powder by Moodbeli, Golden Turmeric powder w/ ginger and black pepper. Comes in 4.7 oz jars. You can find it on Amazon ( I know, I know but..)

Mix it with oat milk or just water. Heat it up, and down she goes. Within a month I went down to one capful of powder per day. After about 3 weeks you never heard a peep from me again about the pain. I never thought it would work cause it’s so simple…I look at all the different gadgets and meds listed under osteoarthritis and just shake my head. Nothing works for everyone but I’m just relating my experience. I started with no, or little expectations and then I forgot about it..lol. There are many brands of Termeric powder but this worked for me. Just take it and forget about it. No obsessing about, is it working? I’d give it a try

I use turmeric in lots of things including scrambled egg. Apparently fresh is best, but I don’t know where you get it and I am not sure I would know how to use it.

I got some from Ocado but gave up after one try as it left my kitchen looking very yellow.....and the teacloths and sponges and my hands, stains EVERYTHING.

My rheumatologist told me that she never recommends any alternative medication but she has had such amazing stories from patients about turmeric that she said it's the one thing she would tell me to try So glad that it's worked for you

All the very best

Yes Henry's230, it does work for many and you can just add it to food. As you found out too its a great thing for tye dye projects too. Bit like beetroot stains everything but usually washes out. At least you gave it a try now to try other things I guess for you .

I can relate to that as I remember having to lift my leg with my hands to put my foot on the clutch. I got an automatic shift car after that! I take turmeric too, along with EPA/DHA fish oil supplements and I think they do help my joints.
