Covid jab

I received a letter the other day about getting my “3rd jab”. It said it’s different to the booster one. The letter was from my rheumatology clinic. I didn’t even know there was a 3rd jab. It’s only got people with problems like arthritis it said. Anybody got the same?

Source.

Johns Hopkins Medicine. Org.

//A third dose of the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines (Pfizer or Moderna) is identical to the first two doses.

It can help protect people with weakened immune systems who did not have a strong enough response to the first two doses of one of the mRNA vaccines.

Such people can get a third dose as soon as 28 days after a second dose. The FDA has authorized, and the CDC recommends, that those with certain medical conditions that suppress the immune system get a third dose of the same brand of COVID-19 vaccine that they initially received.//

Thanks for your reply YuliK. Does that mean it will most probably have the same side effects?

Yes as it’s the same vaccine. Those who qualify for and have the 3rd primary dose will also be offered a booster after another 6 months.

Yes the letter said that. But I hope the side effects aren’t the same as the others 😣

I’ve made an appointment for tomorrow evening. Wish me luck. I was fine with the second dose. But the first jab was awful. Let’s hope I’m not the same tomorrow

Good morning saeedal,

No, I’ve not had a word either. Just been reading though about how montmerency cherry concentrate helps both pain and sleep. Don’t know if it’s hype and growers eager to sell cherries , but worth reading deeper I think

Montmorency cherry juice contains thiamines which I can say work with gout sufferers (a formOf arthritis) as taking two a day has meant I can cut my medication down to 100mg daily. I had been on 400mg and having breakthrough pain so bad I couldn’t walk or weight bear. The dreaded Amazon sell it for about £12 which is a 3 month supply 😁

I’ve had the 3rd jab this evening 🙈. Feeling fine at the moment. Arm feels absolutely normal. I’m still paranoid n dreading the pain in the legs and arms like last time though

Sometimes statins , if you are taking any, can cause pains in the limbs.

I was fine after the jab glad to say. 🙂

Does this now mean I only have my booster left?
