Has anyone had arthritis since this type of gynae op? I am still questioning the terrible knee and ankle problems I suffered and recovery has taken 4 years. Scans showed only very early arthritis in my knees. The pain was debilitating and I was crawling around on the floor at worst. I feel I was very let down by the NHS. I changed doctors, went for a private consultation with a rheumatologist. I can’t believe how well I am currently and my knee joints are working very well. It seems like I had a resolving meniscal tear. I wish I knew what triggered the original flare up. It’s taken a long time to recover and I am glad I didn’t have surgery.

Did the Rheumy tell you what type of arthritis he/she thought you might have? I have psoriatic arthritis that attacks my tendons that attach to bones.

Hello! He questioned me about family history of psoriasis, but no evidence of it. He thought I had osteoarthritis and some symptoms of fibromyalgia. But it was so strange how things flared up and no one has given me a clear diagnosis. Thanks for your comments.
