Wet weather

This wet weather is playing havoc with my osteoarthritis. I take duloxetine and celecoxib and also do codamol if I have a bad flare up but nothing helping. My back and legs ache all the time and I'm constantly getting large bruises and sweating profusely . It's difficult to do any housework

I'm so sorry to hear you are experiencing so much pain. I have RA and Osteoarthritis and all this wet weather is affecting me also. My Gp has prescribed Fentanyl Patches but they don't help much at the moment and I don't want to increase the dose. One thing (also on prescription) that does give me some relief is Fenbid Gel (Ibuprofen Gel) rubbed into my back, hips and legs. Perhaps you could give it a try. You can also buy it from the supermarket but my Fenbid is quite a large tube so lasts longer.

Ouch! been in a lot of pain too since the weather change. Hate it as unable to do much,

few weeks back sorted out a cleaner to come once a fortnight, Great value imo as means I have energy to do other things.

Know bruising is common but wondered why so many now? Mind I fine bruises from fingers pressing on my thighs in the night.

Keep pushing through as best as possible, resting up frequently between chores.
