Word of warning for pain sufferers

I've Had a phone call from a company called Regen Health trying to sell me a herbal remedy for pain called Boswellia ( Indian Frankensence) quoted as having no side effects. On line it states clearly that it does have side effects & not to take it without consulting your GP. It is enormously expensive at around £48 per month and apparently has to be taken for six to eight months before you feel any benefit. My advise do not get taken in with this speil.

Thanks for the warning. But I only answer phone numbers I recognise.

Thank you for the warning Katie, I think this is a very popular product for people with arthritis of any kind.

Thank you Katie for informing us of these people just phoning up offering things. Really do think it's wrong hitting on people that are in so much pain. Thanks again.

Hello Katie. Almost everything we take for for aches and pains have long lists of side effects. For example: take a look at gabapentin; codeine, even paracetamol. However, there are factors to be considered such as dosage, other meds etc . As poemsgalore1 said boswellia is indeed popular in many formulations for arthritis etc. As for price; Swanson boswellia starts from £1:50 a bottle.

All the best, Reg.

Thank you Reg1, this company is well over chargeing then wouldn't you say, £48 or in my case 50% reduction for being over 50 making it £24. for 60 tablets. That is extortion of the elderly and sick. Perhaps I should report them to the tradeing standards but more than likely it is some foreign based company not covered by our trading laws. I have reported it to my bank .
