Hello everyone, 5 News is looking to speak to patients who are currently on the the waiting list for a procedure on the NHS. If this is you and you wanted to do a fimed interview, read on.

New new figures are expected next week to show that people are waiting longer for surgery and other medical procedures than ever before. In fact, stats already published this year showed that more-than 3,000 NHS patients have been waiting more than a year for procedures - which is six times as many as 5 years ago.

5 News is a news programme on Channel 5 and they are producing a special report on the state of NHS waiting times. They are hoping to speak to patients who have been waiting for some time who can talk about their experience waiting for a procedure, their frustrations in the delays for treatment and how the delays have impacted their lives.

> It would be a pre-recorded, television interview, any time next week between 0900 and 1500 and we can travel to people at home.

> If you're interested in taking part - please get in touch with their producer Emma Greatorex on 02074304405/07866812680 or on emma.greatorex@itn.co.uk
