When I was 10 I was diagnosed with JIA and it affected my childhood because I chould not take part in many things at school because of hospital appointments and I had one friend to talk to who luckly had JIA as well. Any one had JIA?

Hi I was diagnosed with Juvenile Stills Disease, which today they refer to as JIA, when I was a toddler - some 40yrs ago. Wow that makes me feel old - of course other than my body lol.

It wasn’t easy growing up with this especially going teenage years. I did have some good friends but didn’t know anyone else with JIA, most of the kids under my consultant were younger than me. Xx
