Hi there I’m new to this group. I’m 34 mum of 3 and work in a office. Diagnosed a few months ago with arthritis of the left big toe joint but then developed pain in the right foot and in both hands. Now have carpel tunnel and raynards
Both came about in the last 6 weeks. My fingers are beginning to swell also with small hard lumps appearing near finger joints. I am awaiting a rheumatology appointment still but feel pain and symptoms are progressing rapidly. Has anyone else had a similar story?

Hello han786 , welcome to the group and thank you for posting to the group!
We are sorry to hear of your experience and swollen hands - that sounds very uncomfortable. We wanted to send out positive thoughts and hope your diagnosis leads to some relief.
All the very best and kind regards,

Hi Yes my wife had similar symptoms, we find a sauna visit really helpful especially in cold weather so if you can find a way to use one in your area you may see some improvements. paul
I suggest you avoid calcium tablets and anything containing calcium carbonate. Also avoid all processed foods ie anything containing lots of additives.
I find Nature's Best Glucosamine Gold tablets help with the pain (they contain more than just glucosamine), but any glucosamine tablets may be helpful (providing they don't contain calcium carbonate!)
Ok interesting to know I thought calcium would be a good thing. I take vitamin d every day and have now begun black seed oil capsules which I’ve been told help arthritis. Thank you for your reply.
Had swollen finger joints in my late forties. They went back to normal. Later on I realised the improvement coincided with me changing from spreads and sunflower oil to butter and olive oil. Maybe you should look into your omega 6 to omega3 ratio.
I also worked in an office and found the air conditioning a problem. I did not feel the cold only the pain and discovered the cause by accident. The pain went when the air was directed along the ceiling rather than straight down on me. I am pretty sure that an air intake by my feet in the car started off the arthritis in my toe joint.
