Was put on tramadol 800 mg daily, but took 1200 mg..my questionif anyone had experienced a side effect of bad shortness of breath?..Am walking on crawling around with a walking aid because of severe osteoarthiritis in my right hip..they will not give me a hip replacement due to high BMI And have a Pacemaker..

I think you need to get medical advice if shortness of breath is connected to your tramadol. I see post is 5 hours ago. I hope you are ok

Hi there. I presume you are suffering bad with pain as I am too. I am taking 400mgs Tramadol & sometimes take 600mgs. I found no side effects & I'm also taking Co-Codamol 30/500 x 4 daily. I'm still in pain.

Hello Sammy, Sorry to hear you are in pain too but I couldnt take tramadol anymore and imo I was gettiing short of breath with the amount I took.

I am on Morphine now, a step up with respect to painrelief but tbh I hired the dosage, trying to find the right balance of strenght in mg and pain I can put up with, but it is always there, and taking too many morphine tablets brings on stomach pain and nausea so giving up more or less and try to accept that its just trial and error, some days are better than other.
