Feel for you. I'm in the same boat. I'm gradually loosing my ability to sew, knit, hold things. I'm scared of the future with the pain. But nothing else I can do but plod on and try to be cheerful as I see each new day.

I miss my job too but most of all I miss my friends and work colleagues. Even doing my crafts which used to keep me sane are getting harder to do because of pain and stiff swollen fingers / hands. Im thinking of getting a hot hand wax warmer as I had this at physio once and it really helped (even if it was short lived). Im attending pain clinic and finding it quite helpful. They did say at the first session they can't take pain away but they are teaching me how to cope better. Hope you get on ok at pain clinic. Hugs Joolz.x

Have you tried the tens gloves they are supposed to work the same as the tens patches but you wear them as gloves. I haven't used them but I love my tens machine on my knees and back it takes away the pain.
