Which one are they thinking of using? I tried Enbrel (etanercept) and it was brilliant. I was only taken off of it because it caused localised reactions around the injection site. Some syringes are like pens where you press the button at the top and it injects and withdraws by itself. Really easy to use.

I tried humira which didnt do a lot fof me but i think my aunt uses the same drug for her crones disease which she seems to get on alright with.

Hi liane i think it's going to be the adalimumab ( humira ) I've read up on it there is a lot of good reviews and lots of bad but I will try anything as long as I can calm this pain down its crazy I've only had this pain roughly 18 months since having a injury from the gym .sean

I hope it works for you!

If it doesn't there's a few different ones out there to try and failing that they can then put you on the biologics like rituximab - which is what I'm on. So don't worry if the humira doesn't sort it. They have like a scale where you start on the common drugs and gradually climb the ladder to the more heavy duty stuff, due to the possible side effects and cost I imagine.

Hi- I am on CIMZIA (Certolizamub)... i have continued to take Methotrexate injectable and the jury is still out if this combo is working. I still have ups and downs. Good luck & as we say in spanish, 'take it with lots of faith' [tomaselo con mucho fe]!
