Hi, i have suffered with cervical spondilosis for more than ten years, it was finally taken seriously by a previous gp about two years ago, i have since been seen by a orthopaedic consultant, who sent me for an mri scan, he told me that due to a congenital fusion, that there is nothing that can be done for me, and that my spine is deteriorating fast, he then discharged me from the clinic and told me to speak to my gp with regards to pain relief.

Hi,
I hope your GP will be of help. We also have a section on pain management on our website here: arthritisaction.org.uk/livi... and this is a topic we cover in our self management events which are free and ran across the country. You can find out more about this on our website here: arthritisaction.org.uk/how/...
I hope this helps.
Best wishes,
Georgia
