Hello... Yes I too have trouble with tablets. Whilst in hospital the doctors tried a medicated plaster called Lidocaine on my knee. I should say I have osteoarthritis in my left knee, I cannot weight bare on it and cannot straighten it at all. The patches really helped with the deep aching pain I have and as they as slow release I stick it to my knee in the morning and take it off at night... They seem to work for me and to be honest are better for me too. Have you heard of these? Or maybe tried them? Just thought I would mention them, maybe you could ask your gp to try them? I agree about the showers... I also use a hot water bottle any time I can as that works wonders too! Good luck and I wish you well
Have you tried taking tablets with milk or yoghurt? Take some milk/yoghurt first, it coats the mouth and stops tablets sticking, the tablets will now slide down more easily along with some more milk/yoghurt!
