Increased to 25 mgs prednisone from 4 mgs re suspected GCA

So of course have not had call from rheumatologist as promised since Ultrasound for temporal arteritis week ago today, was suppose to call thursday past, as they did have results, although secretary said showed normal? and he is not back in office until Jan 2, so my question is, I am still having slight symptons, jaw problems, and some tenderness in right side of forehead, so couple of things, is it possible the dose of 25 mgs for 4 days, reduced inflammation enough not to be detected on ultrasound week ago, also, by Jan 2 will have been on 25 mgs for almost 20 days, so will be more difficult to taper back to 4 mgs, that is if symptons have been relieved, I was under the impression should only be put on higher dose for couple of weeks when this happens?

oh yes Ramlah, realized after the fact, I have since asked for help to see if and how can transfer to correct category, but thank you for noticing
