Sorry for all my multiple posts recently but I saw this today and loved the sentiment

A woman is waking down the street one day when she falls into a hole. It’s deep and the sides are steep so she can’t climb out. A priest walks by and she shouts “hey there, can you help me out of this hole?”. The priest writes a prayer on a piece of paper, throws it down into the hole and walks on. Then a doctor walks past and she shouts “hey there, can you help me out of this hole?” The doctor writes out a prescription, throws it down into the hole and walks on. Then a friend walks by and the woman shouts “hey there, can you help me out of this hole?” So the friend jumps down into the hole. The woman says “what are you crazy? Now we’re both stuck in here”. And the friend says “yes, but I’ve been down here before and I know the way out”.

Love that this support group is full of people helping other people

Yes, although I have to admit my psychiatrist is amazing and did a lot more for me than just throw a prescription down a hole haha but friendship can do a lot for recovery xxxx

Yes Becci .... where would we be without the NHS and professionals! Friendship goes a long way when we have all been in the same boat. xxxx

I think my cpn knows more about me than my actual friends sometimes I definately spoke to her more than I ever managed to speak to my childhood friends who are dotted about the country, we are usually all too busy with bedtime routines to ring each other! But we do have a big meet up once a year x

Beautiful. Strength in numbers. x
