Times babies were born

Just wondering if there is any significance to when our babies were born, my first child was born 8am in the morning after being in labour all night and afterwards went straight to the maternity ward where I just wanted to sleep being shattered, but it was visiting times and everyones children, families, where they were popping champagne etc and i felt overwhelmed, but when I had my 2nd child it was 6pm in the evening and the maternity ward was quiet just partners and i was well never needing any intervention drugs and stayed very well. It just make me think, as it was so out of the blue for me.

Hello guinea1

Thanks for your post. I'm not sure of the significance. I had never had a mental illness prior to my PP episodes, six years apart. With my first son I spent a week in hospital before he was born as I had high blood pressure. I was induced early on Monday morning of the following week, had an epidural and waited ...... until 9.30 pm when he was in distress and I had an emergency c-section! I didn't see him until the next morning :( Six years later I had an elective c-section and my second son was born at 10.50 am and I was awake!! :) My PP episodes were a long time ago. Thankfully I eventually fully recovered and am so grateful to the NHS and family for pulling me through.

With my first I was fine and I had her at 14.32 but with my second I got pp and she was born at 02.23 and like you ended up on the ward in the morning with people visiting and no sleep

I think the lack of sleep didn't help us.
