A quick hello!

I haven't shared my story with you all and hopefully will sometime in the near future but I just wanted to give a quick hello to you all and share a hug for anyone who needs it.

I only discovered this place very recently and wished I knew about it sooner. I think it is truly wonderful to have a place where people can share their stories or questions without worrying too much about judgement or the stigmas that come along with having pp. It is such an unknown and misunderstood condition and I just wanted to thank all the volunteers/admin and members here for sharing your experiences and inspiring others to keep strong.

Wishing you all the very best and hope I can share a bit of my experience in the near future. I went to hell and back but am so grateful to be on the other side of it all.

Be kind to yourselves everyone and know that there is definitely light at the end of the tunnel.

Xoxo

Hi there! Thanks so much for joining in. My family and I have found this place invaluable... Seriously, it was a massive part of our recovery. :). You are so right - there is definitely light at the end of the tunnel. And if I can stretch the analogy a little, I'd say sometimes that tunnel can seem long and twisted, the light gets hidden, but it is definitely there nonetheless! :) x

Aw Tsavourite, that's so lovely to hear! Yes I agree it's a wonderful place to come where's there's none of the stigma or judgement - you can talk about the real issues. It's really important it exists, especially for something like PP. It's really all the members that make this community what it is! :-) I'm looking forward to hearing your story when/if you're ready.

Hi Tsavorite,

Welcome from me too. The more shared hugs the better!

I am so pleased you've found the forum and that it's been reassuring and comforting. It has been a huge source of inspiration for me too. If and when you are ready to share your story, you might find the stories on our APP website useful too. Some are upsetting to read of course but balanced with the happiness that comes with recovery and life taking on some normality once more. app-network.org/what-is-pp/...

Warmest,

JonesieB
