im 27yo.i got nauseous many times like before my viva exams,speaking in front of more than 2-3people ,wen i im nervous,wen i fear somthin.
Hi There, I would first suggest breathing properly...practise whenever you get chance. Lying down is ideal, but you can do it anywhere really. Make sure you are comfortable and warm, close your eyes. Place one hand on your abdomen or chest and breathe in slowly through the nose to the count of 7. Hold a few secs and then breathe out through a pursed mouth and sort of like blowing candles out, to the count of 11. Make sure when you breathe in the abdomen rises and nor just the chest. Just try and expel more out than you take in. This will slow your heart down and relax you.
If you are nervous in a social situation try to distract your nerves by slowly clenching your hands and unclenching them. No one should notice and a lot of people do this for distraction. Hope you do well love from x Ella x
