I wanted to ask people's experience of waiting times for therapy in Scotland. How long did you have to wait? How were your sessions?

I have never had therapy,although there are a few scottish people on this site it is not many.Are you on the waiting list?If so let me know how you get on.

I'm not on a waiting list myself. I am a therapist and my own clients have told me they can be waiting up to 6 to 8 months. I have tried to get some information from local GPs but they are vague, bordering on evasive.

I was advised in October my appointment would be in spring but it came through for 31st Jan.

That's excellent. Sounds like the waiting time is getting shorter.
