👁Third Eye: Breathing
There is an area above the stomach and below the lungs called the "solar plexus"
It is where all the nerves connect from different areas of our body. When we feel
those butterflies in our stomach, it's due to the over stimulation of those nerves.
When we are nervous, our muscles tighten causing us to feel as if we can't take in
the full breath. I think this is what you may be experiencing.
It is not dangerous but a way in showing you that you need to relax, breathe
and slowly exhale the stress and fear. Once you do, the diaphragm will relax
allowing you to get that full breath in. xx
I agree with Agora1….the simplest answer is the vagus nerve….it is the main branch line from head to body…and effects every organ….especially the diaphragm …which is under control of the phrenic nerve fed by the vagus.
And so the main tool you have at your disposal are vagus nerve exercises…and diaphragmatic breathing….learning to breath from your tummy rather than your upper chest….4 seconds in…6 seconds out…..practice this lying on your bed with two books…one on your chest the other on your tummy….try to make the tummy rise higher than your chest…word of warning…do not over breath….slow and gentle.
Lastly look on Google for vagus nerve exercises…pdf.
Humming is one …make your humming deep enough to feel it vibrate in your chest….that stimulates the vagus nerve enough to help it relax….best wishes.
Right on my friend xx
