I can totally empathise with the wanting to feel normal again.
I’ve had all sorts of ‘symptoms’ the past few days, including the tightness in the head. I go through phases of it, and I, like you, know it IS anxiety but anxiety has that clever habit of convincing you it is something else.
These are all symptoms associated with anxiety and it’s horrible to experience but you are safe and you will be ok.
Try taking some deep breaths, getting up out and bed and going to do something might help to shift your focus of attention, rather than just lying there with it.
When I am going through a particularly anxious period, I try to have a bedtime ‘routine’ - bubble bath, warm drink, soft lighting, listen to relaxing music in bed to calm me down before I sleep.
Also, when you say your heart was ‘dropping’ - that’s probably just you noticing something perfectly normal. Our heart rates do slow down when we are sleeping as we are at ‘rest’ , that is something that should happen.
