Anti anxiety meds.

I’m due to start venlafaxine 37.5mg this week, I’m just really nervous about side affects, anyone else taken this?

Hi Mariapalmer, I took venlafaxine sorry to say I cñt take then forgot what reason bean on so maney different med, waiting now to change them again, good luck though thay may b the answere.

Hello Maria i am also starting venlafaxine on Thurs after being on Mirtazapine 30 mg for 6 months with no effect at all.Fingers crossed heard a few good reports about it.

I’m abit worried to start it as when I looked online it’s got a black box warning which I’m not so comfortable with so I’m going to try sertraline instead x

I have been on venlafaxine for years. No side effects. However have tried to come off them before and it is difficult. You have withdrawal symptoms like nausea dizziness and a really bad feeling.

If the brand name is Effexor I took it years ago and it was one of the better meds I have tried.
