propranolol

Just been prescribed propranolol which is a beta blocker for anxiety 40mg as and when. anyone found it helpful ?

Yes it definitely works but i'd advise against the as and when bit as it wipes you out. If you take it daily you allow it to get ahead of it whereas if you take it when you need it, your body is playing catch up and wears you out as it is designed to slow you right down. I found it effective in treating anxiety alongside anti depressants to level you out. I found to have some crazy dreams with them but i during stressful periods i take them daily. I hope this helps
