Yes I often have those symptoms if I'm just standing still I feel as if I'm swaying forward and back as if I'm going to fall over but never do! Unfortunately anxiety has a ton of physical symptoms.
Yes! The doctor keeps telling me it's anxiety. I feel like I'm on a boat swaying and moving around. It was a lot worse at first. It's gotten slightly better and it's been 2 1/2 months. I'm taking 50mg of Zoloft and .5 of Ativan when I feel a lot of anxiety come on. I wish it would go away!! I just want to feel normal again.
I was diagnosed with PTSD, anticipatory anxiety, and anxiety. My daughter died 10 years ago, and I have a lot of stuff going on with my family. It all caught up with me. Looking back at the past 10 years I've always had anxiety. I know what triggered this all. I've been off work for a couple months. Started seeing a therapist and that just wasn't doing it for me. The doctored recommended EMDR. I've now done 2 EMDR sessions. I feel like it's working but I have a ways to go. I'm definitely not myself. I hate the way I feel. Simple things in life that I use to do like go out to dinner and have a drink with friends is next to impossible. I'd rather stay home. It's my "safe place". I am going out though and doing more things slowly. It's the only way to face your anxiety head on.
I have the same, every day. Sometimes my balance is really bad. It gets worse if I'm upset or particularly anxious about something. Possibly from tension in shoulders and neck, interfering with balance mechanism. It's true, the more you focus on it the more persistant it becomes. Try to accept it and it will go away.
My balance is bad to varying degrees when I walk. I can't turn my head quickly. Looking up it's bad, too. I have back, shoulder and neck tension. Even my jaw and across my nose I feel it. At base of skull. My eyes don't focus well. Osteopath wanted to do the Epley manouver on me, suggested my be crystals in my ear canals but I think it's anxiety because it can get worse if I'm stressed about something in particular. I'm better sitting down, even when driving.
