Hello pizzi

I also suffer from health anxiety and it's mostly based around my heart and sometimes I'm convinced I have a brain tumor but mostly my heart as I have chest pain chest tightness sometimes it's hard to take a deep breath. Heart racing/pounding low heart rate sometimes irregular heart beat sometimes and many more anxiety symptoms.

Sometimes I don't know what to do with myself. I feel so lost. I refuse to live this way and it makes it that much harder being a single mom to a little girl

Hello

Should imagine you have seen the GP regarding this problem. Generally they will to several tests to put your mind at rest. Anxiety causes chest pains and sometimes you will feel that the world is dancing in your head. Remember there are no nerves in the brain and again your GP is trained to know what is going on and will always look at something that is obvious. Many people with anxiety say they can feel their heat beating or sometimes hear the heart drumming in their ears.

Please see the GP He/She will arrange easy tests to put your mind at rest.

When we get older we can have regular ECG s that help us feel more in control of our health.

Again I do not know your age although you say you have a young child. That in itself can cause anxiety. When in middle ages well man/Women tests are carried out every few years.

Possibly you may be able to get time off from looking after your young one. This should make life a little bit less stressful

Good Luck

Hello borderriever

Thank you for the reply and yes I have been to my dr many times and the hospital also on many occasions. I've had 3 or 4 sets of complete bloodwork and 3 or 4 EKGs done and also monitored while in the hospital for a few hours. All the drs keep telling me my heart is fine I also go for a holter monitor on the 5th so we shall see.

Still so scared even tho they tell me I'm fine :(
