I have 2 nails that won't grow. One is ridged and has a red lump at cuticle and the other splits down the way all the time. Other nails grow

perfectly long. Any helpful ideas. Been to Dr and she just says to keep an eye on it.

Maybe you should get a second opinion.

Could be fungal related or nutrient related or who knows, that just doesn't seem right for the doctor to tell just to keep an eye on it.

Have you bashed your hand/nails? I wolloped my little toe once and the nail just sort-of grew off my toe and fell off, and a new one then came up.

If the doctor's not worried I wouldn't be either. They know 1000% more than we do about medical issues.
