My son aged 13 is feeling low, crying at school, not been able to concentrate. had him to the doctors that want to refer him.

I am sorry to hear that sue. who do they want to refer him to? there are some good counselling services available.

there has to be cause and effect in all things,,have you asked him about bullying ?,,school should be an enjoyable experience , what are his teachers saying ?,, I had bad depression all those years ago through bullying and sadism at school,,these days should be different but they are not are they,,,this lad's problem is probably not a mental health issue but it certainly may be an assertiveness issue to teach him about himself and about other people, both adult and child,,there are courses available...
