Hi,can some one give me some advise on hypnotherapy atall?I've been seeing a councillor well just finished,and still got bad anxiety.x

I havnt got any advice on this , I do no one or two have tried it in the past , but cant really remember what they said either , I hope they see this & if they come on , will be able to help more

I no you said you have been seeing a counsellor & it doesnt seemed to have worked , have you had a word with your GP , as there are other options or even some have had more than one counselling attempt as it doesnt always work the first time , would be worth having a chat about

I think any option we might want to try is worth a go , we certainly cant come out any worse for trying these things & what works for one , may work for someone else or by versa

If you do , I hope you will let us no how it goes

Hi,Thanks for replying.seeing a councillor did help as it gave me an understanding that nothing bad will happen during an anxiety attack.but I really over think things like working etc I've had to leave my old job and become self employed as I carnt handle letting people down and the fear off i mite have to leave and its driving me mad!all i wont to do is work. and I'm going to hopefully get an appointment to see my gp 2moro to see what else I could do to help.thanks for ur reply xx

I understand everything you are feeling

I no when we want something so much , we can be so focused on that & pushing so hard for it to happen , it can have the reverse effect & cause us anxiety

I am sure all this will happen in time , maybe thats what you need time & to be kind to yourself
