my medication has been changed a few times over the last few years but now im on 60mg of fluoxetine is anybody else on that and has it helped at all i know they all work differently for different people

As for myself, catmummy, I found fluoxetine very helpful. I was drowsy on it, but that was way better than the anxiety it would counteract.

I was on it way before it was ever a generic. Was put on Prozac right after it came out in 1987 and for me it was a wonder drug. I had no side effects and for the first time I felt like a new person. I was on it for 10 years until it stopped working, then switched to Celexa which also worked well for about 10 years. I hope the fluoxetine works really well for you, too!!!! Remember to give it time to work and dosages may need to be adjusted.
