Heavy rain and wind here. Bonus... it got rid of the snow..

I wouldn't mind a beautiful snow storm followed by rain after a few days. Beats shoveling

Stay safe

As long as your drainage is good enough that you don't get flooding! Rain and melting snow is a lot of water to deal with all at once.

I'm very fortunate I'm not in that spot. We didn't get a lot of snow.

I'm not in that spot either (we didn't get any snow), but that's what I'm hearing is a major concern for regions that got the last storm as all snow and this one as all rain.

Anyway, the storm is gone from here and the sun is shining today. I'm fortunate that my house didn't spring any new leaks last night. Some of my neighbors were not so lucky.

That rapid snow melt can be a disaster.

I moved over the summer and all these rain storms have proven the roof is good:)

I'm glad you made out ok. Storm stopped here but no sun yet

It is all about perspective, I had a wonderful hike in the mountains and played in the stream. There were several inches of snow on the ground, hard rain, wind, and best of all, on often crowded trails and playing in a waterfall I didn't see any one else about. Although I am old and don't really like the mud anymore, some of my favorite childhood memories are of my rolling down muddy slopes in heavy storms. I need to learn to like the mus again, but at least show and wind and rain are still my friends!
