Hi Downinil, I hope this gets a lot of responses because I think that it merits them. For me it would be showing compassion to them, or in our case, ourselves. I would not have any ill will towards them being panicked and missing events or not performing well at work or being short with people. I would not judge them for eating to avoid their feelings. This might be the focus for my next ketamine session. I don't know why we feel we can expect more of ourselves than others other than we are just in our own head... I wish you success finding your best friend in yourself. Take care of yourself.❤️☮️

Always look for opportunities to give positive self talk hug the child in you and not comparing self to others comes to mind. Accept compliments. Build yourself up.

The big one for me is not comparing myself to others.

Me too! I’ve been catching myself and then replacing I need to work on replacing the thought with a positive

Some good advice here.

I would also say don't compare yourself to others, also:

learn to forgive yourself, practice self-compassion (you do it for others), it is ok to fail or stumble (even repeatedly) but not to quit.

Definitely do nice things for yourself once and a while. Acknowledge and savor your victory's when they occur
